What Jale is
Jale is a free tool, made in Costa Rica, that helps you decide whether a trip offer is worth it and keeps your car's books. It is not affiliated with, authorized or endorsed by Uber or any other platform. The platforms' names belong to their owners.
Advice, not an order
- The verdict (TAKE IT or NO) is an estimate based on what Jale could read and on the costs you gave it. It can be wrong: a bad reading, old data, a trip that changes.
- The decision to accept, decline or cancel a trip is always yours. Jale never touches the platform's app.
- The books, the budget and the car plan are there to help you get organized. They aren't accounting, legal or mechanical advice.
The platforms
Each platform has its own terms for drivers. Read them: using Jale is your decision, and the platform can see which accessibility services you have on. Jale doesn't hide.
Free
Jale is free, with no ads and no sale of data. Its code isn't open: it belongs to its author, Pablo Barquero.
No warranty
Jale is offered as is. Everything possible is done for it to work well, but there's no guarantee that it won't fail or that its numbers are exact. To the extent the law allows, its author isn't liable for decisions made based on Jale.
Your account
Jale works without an account. If you create one to use an online service, only you should use it. You can delete it whenever you want (how).
Changes and law
These terms may change; the date above says when. They are governed by the laws of Costa Rica.
