Try Jale before anyone else

Before it can come out on Google Play, Jale has to pass a closed test: 12 drivers who keep it installed for 14 days in a row. It's a Google rule for new apps. If you drive with Uber and have Android, we need you.

What we ask

  • An Android 11 or newer phone, with the Gmail account you use for Google Play.
  • That you drive with Uber in Costa Rica. For now Jale reads Uber, in Spanish or English.
  • Keep it installed for 14 days in a row. If you uninstall it earlier, it doesn't count for the test.
  • Tell us what breaks and what isn't clear. A short e-mail is enough.

What you get

  • Jale before anyone else, free and with no ads, as it will always be.
  • TAKE IT or NO over every offer, with your car's real cost, and your car's books.
  • What doesn't work for you gets fixed before it comes out.

How to sign up

  1. Write to soporte@jale.cab with your phone's Gmail.
  2. When the test opens, you get a Google Play link to join. Open it with that same account and tap "Join".
  3. Install Jale from Google Play and follow the guide: it explains what it reads and why, before asking for any permission.

Good to know

  • Jale only looks: it never accepts, rejects or touches anything in Uber. The decision is yours.
  • What it reads and what you write down stays on your phone. Details in the privacy policy.
  • Jale is independent: it isn't affiliated with Uber. Using an app like this is your choice; read Uber's terms.
